The Colonel Adam Alexander Society held its organizing meeting, held Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Berea Baptist Church in Stanfield NC. They had 10 of our 15 members present, 9 Seniors, and 6 prospective members. Regents from Clear Creek Militia and Yadkin River Patriots, Recording Secretary from Cabarrus Black Boys, and the Mecklenburg SAR brought greetings and the SAR was the color guard. Honored guests included Mary Lee Howell (National Assistant Registrar), Rebecca Bottoms (NCSCAR Senior Chaplain), Carolyn Coordes (Past Senior National VIce President of Southeastern Region C.A.R.), Valerie Howell (Senior National Chairman of the Museum Advisory Committee C.A.R.), and Vivia Tatum (DAR as DAR/SAR liasion, and several other Heritage societies). A reception followed the ceremony.
