Miss Audria Vickers of Garner is the North Carolina State Chairman for C.A.R./D.A.R./S.A.R./S.R. Relations & also holds the office of Recording Secretary for the Joel Lane Society. In 2011, Audria was a delegate to the North Carolina State C.A.R. Convention as well as a delegate to the National C.A.R. Convention. And, as of this afternoon she became the new State Historian.
Miss Vickers is a senior at Wake Christian Academy in Raleigh, where she is the current Chaplain of the Beta Club. Her activities continue as she is a Member of their fall Colorguard, performing with the marching band at halftime & the Winterguard competition team. Just this afternoon she performed in a contest in Cary. Audria is a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She is active with the youth group & has also sung with the youth praise team. She has completed the Come & See Ministries’ college Preparatory class on Systematic Theology. She is currently participating in the spring Apologetics college preparatory class.
Miss Vickers would like to honor her Revolutionary Ancestor Private Joseph White. He served in the Virginia Continental Line with the 11th Regiment under Colonel Daniel Morgan & Captain Peter Bryan Bruin. She would like to also honor ancestor Private Thomas Ely of Virginia who served with Captains Henry Terrell, Samuel Colston, William Fowler & Colonel Josiah Parker.
Audria is being presented by her father Blake Vickers and mother Janet Vickers, who is Senior Vice President for the Joel Lane Society and is a member of the Caswell-Nash DAR Chapter where she serves as C.A.R. Chair.
The Assistant Marshal for Audria is her brother Mr. Justin Vickers of Garner. Justin is the N C State Chairman for Government Studies & is the Chaplain for the Joel Lane Society.
