Miss Ria Lee Eudy is also one of our newer members in the Albemarle-Stanly Society, and is the daughter of Dwight and Zelma Eudy. Ria serves as the Secretary for her local society, and recently assisted in the reorganizing ceremony for the society this past January.
Ria is a 2003 graduate of Albemarle High School, where she was in Honors Band, a member of the Jazz Band for two years and was a Color guard member for three years. While in school she was certified as a nursing assistant. Ria is currently self employed as a licensed Insurance agent.
Ria is honoring the service of her ancestor Solomon Burris from North Carolina, who served as a soldier under Colonel Davidson, Captains Armstrong and Boger; and under Colonel Sumpter. She would also like to acknowledge the patriotic service of Thomas Biles, Sr. and Andrew Stowe.
Tonight Ria is being presented by her father Mr. Dwight Eudy.
Her Assistant Marshal is Mr. Andrew James Gariety of Albemarle.
