Miss Jessy Allen of Raleigh currently serves as the North Carolina C.A.R. State Historian, and last year she was the National & North Carolina Merit Award Chairman. She is the current Joel Lane Society President & has served in many other positions on the local level.
Miss Allen is a senior at Wakefield High School in Raleigh where she is on the A/B Honor Roll & the A Honor Roll. She is the Yearbook Business Manager & its second editor. Jessie is the Photography club founder & is the club president. Outside of her studies, Jessy is on the Varsity rowing team & is the Assistant Coach for the Falls Lake Rowing Association. She is also a relay swimmer. Jessy uses her extra time to assist & mentor other students as a math tutor.
Miss Allen would like to honor her patriotic ancestor First Major James Moore who served in the North Carolina Militia.
Jessy is being presented by her father Dan Allen who is a member of the Raleigh Chapter, SAR and mother Jody Allen who is a member of the General James Moore Chapter, DAR.
The Assistant Marshal for Jessy is her brother Mr. Spencer Allen of Raleigh. Spencer is the North Carolina C.A.R State Treasurer and is a member of the Joel Lane Society.
