Remember:
As we approach North Carolina’s First in Freedom with the 250th anniversary of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence on May 20, 1775, let’s remember. The project is to plan, organize, implement, and publish a hardcopy coloring book of North Carolina American Revolution History from the Edenton Tea Party to the Over the Mountain Men. A hard copy will be given to each North Carolina C.A.R. Society, DAR, SAR, and SR Chapters, along with an emailed pdf for them to print as many copies as they like.
Honor:
Create cards with North Carolina C.A.R. members to be given to Veterans in and around our own communities, whether in a parade, meeting, or event. Visit Veterans in Assisted Living and Nursing homes, Veteran events at USO, WAA, or Parades, or request to visit their meetings to pay respect.
Salute:
Purchasing items to mail care packages to our active troops, through Support Our Troops in Ayden, NC.
Goal: $3,000
