Hi! I’m Davis Benedict and I am happy to serve as the State President of the North Carolina Society Children of the American Revolution. I joined C.A.R. when I was six years old. In the last eight years I have served as a local society officer in the Kingston Society and the Thomas Sutton Society. I have also been the State Chairman for the American Indian and Endowment Fund Committee, as well as the State Historian, State Treasurer, State Chaplain, and State Vice President. I have had a great time meeting members across North Carolina at the Summer and Winter Board meetings and the State Conferences. And I have also had a really good time at several Southeastern Regional meetings.
When I’m not doing something with C.A.R., I play soccer, take piano lessons, and go to school. I also really like playing sports games on the Xbox with my friends. I am looking forward to this year and I hope that we are all able to get together again for fun things and some meetings.
Here is information about Davis’ project.
And, here is the Yearbook from Davis’ term as State President.
