Summer Elizabeth Fleming, Debutante, March 23, 2019

Miss Fleming joins us from the Colonel Adam Alexander Society in which she is the current President.

Summer attended high school at Gray Stone Day School in Misenheimer, North Carolina. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA. While there she was a member of the Spanish Honor Society and the American Heritage Girls where she earned the Stars and Stripes Award which is equivalent to an Eagle Scout award.

Summer now attends Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina where she caries a 3.89 GPA in Biology as a part of the Pre-Physician Assistant track. She is minoring in Spanish.

At Wingate she is a member of Campus Outreach, the Pre-Physician Assistant Club, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the Alpha Chi Honor Society.

Summer has worked as a Lab Assistant for Cellular and Molecular Biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology 1. She is a tutor in lab report writing and an aide in Home Health. She also volunteers at the Union County Community Shelter.

She enjoys reading, camping, game nights, Bible studies, and traveling abroad. When asked about her life goals, Summer responded :After completing my undergraduate work, I would like to study to become a licensed Physician Assistant. I hope to work in community medicine, particularly in under privileged foreign nations in conjunction with Gospel ministry.

Miss Fleming’s Patriot Ancestor is Thomas Lowder from South Carolina.
