Miss Rachael Addison Miller is Honorary North Carolina State President and Past Society President of the Mecklenburg Hornet’s Nest Society in Charlotte. Her parents are Mr. & Mrs. Lewis Miller of Richmond, VA. Martha Miller is a member of the DAR
Miss Miller has been a member of C.A.R. for 16 years as a member of the Jack Jouett Society in Kentucky, the Lexington Alarm Society in Michigan and North Carolina. She has served many capacities on the state, regional and national level. She is the current National Merit Award Chairman. Past positions include National Magazine & Newsletter chairman, State Chaplain for North Carolina and Kentucky, Regional Registrar and Conference flag bearer. Rachael has also served as personal page for two National Presidents and at Mid-Southern Regionals.
Rachael is a current freshman at Liberty University where she is in the Honor’s program and on the Dean’s List earning a 4.0. At her high school graduation she presided as the Salutatorian. Her academic career includes being inducted into the National Honor Society and receiving the highest GPA of her sophomore class. She was recipient of the President’s Education Awards Program for Outstanding Academic Excellence, and attended the Talent Identification Program at Duke University. Rachael was a member of the Junior Varsity Basketball Team. She also competed in the small ensemble and Piano Duet Competition.
Rachel would like to honor her Revolutionary Ancestor Ensign John Cundiff, who volunteered in the Company of Captain Joshua Early. Ensign Cundiff was with the main army and was part of the troops to whom Cornwallis surrendered at Yorktown.
