McKenzie Campbell Noblitt, Debutante, March 2009

Miss McKenzie Campbell Noblitt is a member of the Mecklenburg Hornet’s Nest Society in Charlotte and is the daughter of John and Frances Noblitt of Mint Hill. Mrs. Noblitt is a member of the DAR.

Miss Noblitt is a senior at David W. Butler High in Matthews where she is a member of the National German Honor Society, obtaining a perfect score on the level 2 exam. She was selected for National Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars and was awarded a Summer Study Scholarship to Germany by the National American Association of Teachers of German.

McKenzie is a Mellophone Soloist in the school Marching Band and is an Advanced Placement student in Chemistry, English, Statistics and German.  She also participated in the Duke Talent Identification Program.
At Charlotte Museum of History she is a Junior Docent and was awarded Outstanding Sci-Teen by Charlotte Discovery Place Science Museum Sci-Teen Program.

McKenzie has been accepted at UNC-Chapel and New York University. She has also applied to Wake Forest University

McKenzie would like to honor her Revolutionary Ancestor Nathan Musselwhite who was a private in the Continental Army.

 McKenzie is being escorted by her father Mr. John Gunter Noblitt

 McKenzie’s assistant Marshal is Mr. Kenneth John Sarris of Matthews.
